My colleague said she was beside herself. She was desperately motioning to him to tell her what had happened. After was seemed like a lifetime to her, he hung up.
'What's happened? Whose died?' She asked her emotionally truamatised husband.

Ohh, it's very serious Jayne. As a commenter said in an earlier post, if we lose the RWC she thinks the plan is to disband the country and sink the land in the pacific!
Is this good for the Irish Boys if they get through ???? or should I say.when..there ll be grown men crying at 8 o clock in the morning here on satusday if they dont !!!
Catherine, I'd be thinking that all the other teams started throwing parties when they heard that news!

That was just if we failed to make it out of the pool stages. If we lose from this point on, the plan is to do what we've done every other time, ie completely lose all perspective and go into national mourning. Except this time half the world will see us do it.

I'm actually really sorry he's gone (and I'm not just saying that now that we're out), I think he's absolutely brilliant and it's a shame that he's not going any further.
