One of these things is not like the other one.

My fabulous 82 year old uncle sent me this piece of advice...'When you are in deep shit, look straight ahead, keep your mouth shut and say nothing'.

Accompanied by this photo.

I'm picking that fox just won the fox equivalent of Lotto.

And I'm giving the photo the benefit of the doubt and I'm refusing to admit that I may have been outsmarted by Photoshop.

*Closes her eyes, puts fingers in her ears and starts chanting 'Mary had a little lamb' over and over again.*

Oops, left a 'get' out of the last comment.

Insert it at your leisure.

I meant, "It's totally real, best picture EVAR!"

Sorry, that other thing about Photoshop... load of old bollocks and typos. You know how it goes.

Fat Sparrow, please take a seat and make yourself at home in my delusional world.

You two make a wonderful double act. Are you sure you're not sisters?

Hah! Funny.

No, not unless there's something my mother isn't telling me.....

Hon, have you ever smelled a fox? You really can, even without a foxhound nose. You don't really want it to be freal, there'd be flayed fox fricassee in a second.

Never ever considered 'fox fricasse' before, Jo! I'm liking it. And, no, never smelled, let alone laid eyes on a living, breath fox - we don't have them down here.

We have lots, but I'd never seen one at home in the country where I grew up. Lots in the towns - urban foxes re v successful :)

But this summer, when I was visiting said family home, me and the kids watched one wandering round the field below the orchard we were in, then come trotting halfway up it straight towards us before finally seeing us, stopping and staring, then it sort of mentally shrugged and went back to its original business, but wasn't remotely bothered. Very cool!

How cool, still vaguely concerned about that smell thing, though.
