I went to visit the Family-of-four-boys-six-and-under last night.
I have to say there is something quite glorious when a minature drunk (20 month old) comes running up to you wearing a delighted grin, pyjamas...................and ski boots.
'Oh they're great', says mother-of, 'they slow him down.'

If we could harness the power small children, the world would never have an energy crisis.
I don't know what I was thinking of, having a baby at almost-34. He's almost 6 now, and while he's fairly calm for a 5-year-old boy, he talks non-stop and runs around a lot.
I can't imagine having 4 of them under the age of 6, it would truly do my head in. They can be entertaining, though.
I love your energy solution.
Their household is: insane, noisy, social and great fun to be in. Mother-of is 40!
My twenty month old does exactly the same thing! We get visitors and she's in the garden in just her nappy and those ski boots.
What a glorious mental picture, Mwa!
