So they have big flies in Perth too! I know they big flies in Sydney, I saw them when I lived there, awful things. But I never saw their shit. Blegh.
You most probably just didn't identify it as shit,Holemaster. I guarantee you would have noticed masses of brown/black spots all over the place. White walls that were a lovely shade of speckle?
Well now, we were an apartment of three lads who smoked a lot of weed and drank loads of stubbies and had a pet gecko each, all of them called Gordon.
Hah! You wouldn't have noticed the walls then.. But I'm putting a fiver on the fact there would have been an extended family of cockroaches also living with you.
When I lived in Sydney I reckoned the cockroaches should have paid rent.
We did indeed have some roaches. I think all the Gordons ate the odd one here and there though.
